The Ultimate Driving Experience

Q: How old must I be to drive?
A: Drivers must be at least 18 years of age, with a valid license, to participate in Autocross and iX Experience. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age, with a valid license, in order to participate in Street Drives. Licenses will be checked onsite.

Q: Are there any limitations to how many times I can drive in the Autocross?
A: Drivers may only pre-register for one (1) Autocross session per city. Once onsite, should space be available, drivers may request to participate in one (1) additional Autocross session for a total of two (2) Autocross drives per city.

Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: Yes, but all drivers must pre-register online in their own name. You will receive a confirmation email, once your registration is complete, to verify your pre-registered activity. All guests will be required to register as well when they arrive onsite.

Q: Why can’t I pre-register for Street Drives and iX Experience?
A: These activities are available on a first-come, first-served basis and runs continuously throughout each day. Drivers just need to check in at registration onsite to take part in this activity.

Q: What does it mean if I am waitlisted?
A: Signing up for the waitlist allows drivers to obtain driving spaces in the event pre-registered guests do not show up for their reservation. Similar to flying standby, waitlisted drivers must check in at registration at their assigned activity time. Waitlisted drivers will be notified shortly thereafter if space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As a waitlisted guest, you are welcome to enjoy the other driving activities, Street Drives and/or iX Experience.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: All 2022 BMW Ultimate Driving Experience events and driving activities are complimentary.

Q: Can my family and friends ride in the car with me?
A: Once each person registers onsite and has a liability waiver completed, family and friends may ride along in the Street Drive and iX Experience activities (installation of car seats is prohibited). Only registered drivers are permitted in the Autocross vehicles, but additional seating will be provided for companions to sit at the track tent as a spectator.

Q: What health and safety measures will be put in place for this year’s event?
A: In order to comply with local, state and federal government guidance and to promote a safe and healthy environment at the event, we ask that you only participate in this event if you can answer “NO” to all questions below.

- Within the last 14 days, have you tested positive for COVID-19?
- Within the last 14 days, have you experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19 such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms?
- Within the last 14 days, have you been ordered by a healthcare provider or public health official to self-quarantine?
- Within the last 14 days, have you had any close contact (within 6 feet) with a person who has shown symptoms or received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis?
- Excluding people who have been fully vaccinated within the last 3 months and show no symptoms of COVID-19 
- Excluding people who have had COVID-19 illness within the last 3 months and have recovered and remain without symptoms of COVID-19
- Would you self-identify as an individual at high-risk for severe illness from COVID-19 as defined by the CDC?

By participating in this event, I agree to comply with all health and safety guidelines.  Please wear a mask if you’re more comfortable doing so. Masks should be worn properly (fully covering both nose and mouth) throughout your experience. We will have extra PPE masks, sanitizing wipes, and hand sanitizer available onsite, should you need. Wash stations and contactless sanitizer stations will also be available across multiple touchpoints.

M TRACK DAYS

Q: How old must I be to drive?
A: Drivers must be at least 21 years of age, with a valid license, for all track activities. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age, with a valid license, in order to participate in Street Drives. Licenses will be checked onsite.

Q: What time does the event start/end?
A: Events will accommodate two (2) separate half-day sessions – a morning session and an afternoon session. The morning session will begin with registration starting at 8:00am and end at 1:00pm with a lunch food box. The afternoon session will begin with registration at 12:15pm and end at 5:15pm with a light-snacks food box.

The full-day session will begin with registration starting at 8:00am and end at 5:45pm with a mid-day lunch box and afternoon light-snacks box distributed.

Q: How much does it cost? 
A: Sprint Package is $495 per participant. Endurance Package is $995 per participant.

Q: Which vehicles are available to drive? 
A: Track Vehicles will be M240xi, M3, M4 M5, X3 M and X4 M. The Street Drives fleet will consist of a variety of eight (8) different BMW M Performance vehicles. 

Q: Can my family and friends ride in the car with me? 
A: Only drivers who are registered for the specific session are permitted in the track activity vehicles; companions may view from designated spectator areas around the track. Guests of the same pod or household are allowed to accompany a driver during the Street Drives activity, only.

Q: Are there any limitations to how many times I can drive in the program?
A: Drivers may only pre-register for one (1) session per city. 

Q: Is there a waitlist?
A: On the registration site you will be able to click on the waitlist if the session has already been filled. The link will direct you to a site where you can input your information to be contacted when a space becomes available.

Q: Will there be parking available at the event site? 
A: Parking will be available for all guests.

Q: What is the dress code? 
A: Casual attire. Please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes for track driving. 

Q: How fast will we go? 
A: As fast as your capabilities allow. Plan to easily hit speeds upwards of 100 MPH out on the track.

Q: Will there be additional passengers in any of the vehicles with me?
A: As a portion of our increased safety measures, no additional passengers will be asked to ride in the vehicle with any other attendee. The BMW Professional Driving Instructors will coach all participants by radio.

If you have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or above, you will be unable to attend the event.
